Meet the speaker:
Raffi Kassabian
Raffi Kassabian is a litigator with extensive experience in commercial and complex litigation. Prior to co-founding Bezdik Kassab Law Group - a Pasadena based boutique business, commercial and real estate law firm - Raffi spent nearly a decade at global law firm Reed Smith LLP in Los Angeles, representing Fortune 100 companies, startups, and major financial institutions. Raffi is licensed in California and Hawaii, maintaining an active legal practice in both states.
Most recently, Raffi’s firm represents hundreds of fire victims in connection with both the Lahaina, Maui and Eaton fire mass tort lawsuits against the respective utility companies.
A graduate of UCLA and UCLA School of Law, Raffi is also a licensed California real estate broker and lectures on First Amendment law at UCLA. He has been featured for legal commentary in the Los Angeles Times, NBC, FOX, ABC and Hawaii News Now.
Raffi’s presentation will discuss the recent mass tort lawsuit against Edison in connection with the Eaton fires, next steps and what rights individuals and businesses may have for potential recovery outside their insurance policies.
